It is too hard to answer this. There are so many weddings I have loved! I suppose some of the highlights have been my Chelsea, London Weddings, Scotland, Spain , Italy and US weddings!
Naturally bohemian, beautiful with a classic, timeless edge!
I have built my business entirely on my own. With only my background in art and psychology I have managed to create a thriving business where I have several of my own assistants and do over 50 weddings a year!
I'm a commissioned artist and tattoo artist.
Start early! Get planning right away. Vendors get booked up quite far in advance, this includes hair and makeup artists like myself. So get in there early to avoid disappointment.
Couples who ensure their day is what they want, not what others expect. There are no rules to weddings! Do what brings you the most joy.
I start by building a relationship through emails. We arrange a trial and I spend a few hours getting to know my brides and their family, going through their wedding planning process and really getting a feel for what they are looking for. I continue to stay in touch over the months, leading up to the big day to make sure they know I am here, thinking about them and if there is anything they need!
I love my brides! I love the finished product and even more so, I love the photos from the photographers. The photographs are my final product. An artist's masterpiece at its final stage! I get a thrill seeing it all come together and then that final look, through the camera lense!
Make sure you have a good skincare regime. Doesn't have to be expensive. Just make sure you are cleansing, moisturising and drinking lots of water!
My bride knows me pretty well by the wedding day and vice versa. So there is a natural ease, between the two of us. But one thing I have learned...is it is important to ask them how they are feeling, put them at ease. Most brides get a little nervous just before the ceremony and that's my time to really make sure they feel calm...if that means interjecting a little bit of humour to help, then that's what I do!
Make sure you don't stress...drink and eat well! General healthy living that should be done year round!
