Outside of Hair & Make-up I'm a professional athlete, and former British Champion. I spend my "spare time" in the gym, traveling all over judging Bodybuilding shows, or hanging out with my dog Sergeant who i'm not ashamed to say often wins over nights out and socialising.

Additional travel costs may vary and need to be quoted individually. Price from and to above is bridal day hair & make-up, then bridal day with trial. bride only not including transport.

What's included

Exclusivity and priority. Yours will be the only wedding booking that day. Your artist will not need to run off and can remain with you until you leave for the wedding.

As your wedding day is exclusively yours this allows more flexibility to perhaps add another person later should you wish.

Thorough consultation during trial across themes, flowers, colours and overall wedding style... not forgetting of course you as a human being.

3hr hair and make-up trial to explore some variations and work towards that final perfect look. This works great before a dress fitting to give you the full picture.

Ria will come to your chosen location on the day working to the pre arranged time plan to calmly and confidently provide you with your Bridal hair and make-up.

Artistic Stylist - Hair and Make-up Artistry Full Description

Ria has 22 years of experience and is an Internationally experienced and globally published photographic and bridal specialist with experience working across a large variety of styles. More know for her timeless vintage influences and soft romantic updos, with natural subtly enhanced make-up looks. Bookings taken at a maximum of 9 months in advance. Bridal services available 7 days a week travelling to your prefered location. How it works... Query: Get in touch to check that your date and service needs can be accommodated - Direct Business website form ideal. Booking: If you wish to go ahead, secure your booking with a non refundable reservation fee is required. (This will come out of the remaining final balance, so is no additional cost). The Trial: If you've booked a trial this generally takes around 3hrs and provided in your home or hotel. It's a chance to try some different ideas to find your ideal final look. In regards as to when, to get the most out of it Ria often recommends clients to try and book this on the day of a dress fitting. This gives them the opportunity to see the full picture prior to the day itself. The trial services are paid for directly on the day. All looks will be photographed for reference and sent across for your record. A Time Plan can then be built in the run up to the event so that on the morning of the wedding itself everyone knows when their time spot is to keep things running smoothly. Final Balance: Any remaining balance for your booking is then transferred 7 days prior to the event taking place. The Wedding Day: On the day of your wedding, Ria will come out to the prearranged location of your choice. This may of course be venues, hotels or homes.

Ria is a saint and I have been super grateful she was my hair and MUA for my wedding. She also did my fiancé's hair and makeup and was amazing given their alopecia and also the fact we were an alternative couple. Ria did an amazing job and was so lovely and calming. Ria did my hair and make up for my spring wedding 2025 and she was amazing! Excellent communication and flexibility throughout. at times my saving grace

Ria is absolutely amazing, from trial to wedding day and then a re run for more photos I cant fault a thing!! Trial was exactly what I wanted it to be, Ria found the perfect style to suit me. On the day Ria and another lady (im so so sorry ive forgotten her name) done hair and make up for myself, matron of honour, mother of the groom and 4 bridesmaids - every single one was perfect! My hair and make up stayed put all day long and looked as perfect in wedding photos at 10pm as it did at the church in the early afternoon. Ria was helpful, kind, bubbly and at times my saving grace with her kind words and willingness to lend a hand where it was needed! Also to add my hair cut and colour was great too - looking forward to next appointment :-) From the bottom of my heart Ria THANKYOU for everything you've done, the little things as well as the absolute perfection you made of myself and my bridal party on our big day xx

I travelled from Essex to Norwich earlier this week for a family wedding and I am so pleased I came across this Facebook page as it meant I was able to book Ria to put my hair up for me. Having never met before, I was immediately put at ease by Ria's experience and what a lovely, bubbly lady she is too. I loved my hair and it stayed in place throughout the day and night. What is your most memorable wedding?

A 2 day 12hrs a day wedding event..... Its hard not to go for that one as it clearly took the most hours. An English rose themed wedding the first day staying for an evening change and touch ups and an elaborate moroccan themed bbq the day after... once again staying for touch ups and an evening change. It was a lovely weekend, great weather, food and such lovely people.

So many... they are often what makes it! quirks and unexpected surprises that keep it individually authentic.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

1. Enquiry: Get in touch to confirm your date and services. Bookings taken at a maximum of 9 months in advance.

2. Booking: Secure your day with a non-refundable reservation fee (deducted from your final balance).

3. The Trial: Usually 3 hours, held at your home or hotel. Ria recommends scheduling on the day of a dress fitting if you can for a full-picture experience. All looks are photographed and shared for reference.

4. Time Plan: A personalised schedule ensures everyone in your bridal party knows their slot on the morning of the wedding.

5. Final Balance: Due 7 days before your big day.

6. The Wedding Day: Ria travels to your chosen venue, hotel, or home to create your bridal look in a calm and organised atmosphere.

What do you love most about your job?

variety... creativity... meeting people.... helping people look and feel ruddy amazing and the best version of themselves! (Yes I love people to still look like themselves).

What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?

Don't forget the basics ... Healthy hair and skin. We want your natural beauty to glow, and it makes the final result so beautiful. Regular trims, a good skin care regime, a healthy balanced diet, and keep hydrated!

How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?

I'm a human being, not a fake ever-smiling powder puff... but I am kind and supportive. I tend to speak honestly with people, get to know them... make them laugh a little, and help keep their feet on the ground. When you've worked on enough weddings, you tend to be able to read the room pretty well and keep a good, calm pace.

What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?

Self confidence, not letting the "circus" get the better of you. There is nothing more beautiful than confidence, grace, and kindness! - I'll fix the rest, and provide you with a small touch-up kit just in case you need it :) x
