What is your most memorable wedding?
That is a hard one but I’d have to say travelling to Trinidad to work at the most fantastic wedding was a highlight. It’s so amazing seeing the way in which each culture does weddings differently!

What about your business are you most proud of?
Our Brides are our main focus. We pride ourselves on our service as we know not everyone is wholly comfortable having there makeup done. Gaining traction as a business who supports people with anxiety is my biggest area of pride.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Organisation is key! I’m also planning my wedding this year and have lists & planners coming out of my ears. Prioritise your important suppliers and research them first.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The grooms present to the bride was a bottle of her favourite champagne from the year the met with the most beautiful, personally written poem from him. Everyone was in floods of tears!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
From initial contact, we aim to reply as quickly as possible. This is always within a week and then we get to chatting all about your big day! Every couple is different so we get a lot of additional information from you in order to serve you best.
Throughout the process with ARK, we try to be as on the ball as we can sending out Trial Cheat Sheets, Skincare advice etc. At your trial, we ensure you’re the only one in our studio being pampered for ultimate relaxation and comfort. On the day, we travel to the venue of your choice with our extensive kit and stay until you leave for touch up’s etc.
What do you love most about your job?
The people I meet. I believe life is all about connection and I get so excited to meet any new clients!
What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?
Skincare skincare skincare! Prep is key to your bridal makeup looking it’s most fabulous so please ask us for recommendations or visit your aesthetician to recommend products based on your skin type.
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
I’m a very chatty person and I love to talk about ANYTHING! This seems to keep everyone calm and if that fails, I’ve got some cracking dad jokes in my repertoire 😉
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
Have a couple of products for your wedding clutch such as lippie, powder and perhaps even a cooling spray to help you take a breath after dancing all night!
