Alyse Baker Artistry | Hair & Makeup

Alyse did the hair and makeup for me and my bridesmaids and my mum for my wedding and I honestly cannot say enough how happy I am that I found her to be our artist for the day! She was so lovely from the moment I reached out and in my trial, checked in throughout the process to make sure it was heading in the direction of what I envisioned. She’s so great at enhancing your natural beauty and highlighting whatever you want to stand out (for me it was my eyes!) On the wedding morning, she (and her colleague Amanda, who I also cannot recommend enough!) kept such a calm and good vibe even as I myself was nervous/jittery and checked in that everyone was doing well and liking their hair/makeup throughout. She made sure I got touch ups as needed and knew how to use my touch up kit that she sent me to the ceremony with. I’ve honestly never felt prettier than I did that day so much in thanks to her skills and the way she enhanced all my favourite features. I know all my bridesmaids felt the same, they were so pleased and felt so looked after! Not to mention the makeup lasting (and looking lovely) until I got back home! If you’re getting married anytime in the future you’d be making an amazing choice by having Alyse for your hair/makeup, not only will you feel gorgeous but the energy she’ll bring will be so calming and lovely!

I can’t recommend Alyse highly enough! She was such a lovely addition to my wedding morning, made me feel so relaxed and pampered. From the responsive communication setting everything up, to the trial make up session and the actual wedding day, everything went so smoothly largely down to her organization and general professionalism. The make up was wonderful and I really couldn’t have been happier.

Alyse is an amazing make-up artist, she really took the time and care, and put me at complete ease before my wedding day. The end result was perfect, and I was so happy with the overall look, I can't thank her enough!

It was a real pleasure to meet Alyse and have her do my wedding make up trial and the real thing on the big day. She was very prompt, professional and did exactly what I had envisioned. My make up felt natural and light and looked brilliant. I felt comfortable and relaxed for the whole day. It also lasted incredibly well as Alyse had also prepared a little touch up kit for me. I heartily recommend her!

Alyse did my make-up for my wedding, and my mum’s too. We both absolutely loved what she did, it had a natural feel but definitely felt special & glam! She’s super professional, great at what she does & was so fun & wonderful to have around on the day! As one of the many Covid-brides (!) We had our wedding cancelled twice, and ended up getting married with only two days notice!! Alyse was amazing in making it all happen for us. My hairstylist couldn’t make it last minute, and Alyse told me not to worry, to focus on getting everything else in place and that she’d sort it for me. It was such a kind & heartwarming gesture, and she managed to get me an incredible hairstylist. I really can’t thank Alyse enough :)
