- BBarbara R18/07/2024The Monastery is in a beautiful quite locationThe Monastery is in a beautiful quite locationThe Monastery is in a beautiful quite location, views over the surrounding valley from the apartment windows & the terrace were fabulous, there was a Large bathroom also with great views. We stayed for 4 nights The monastery has been excellently renovated with out losing its ancient feel. Cristina was an excellent host who with Ramona made our stay very comfortable. Ramona cooked a great meal on our second last night & also spoke excellent English. The best part of traveling in Abruzzo...The Monastery is in a beautiful quite location, views over the surrounding valley from the apartment windows & the terrace were fabulous, there was a Large bathroom also with great views. The location is stunning and the building complex of the monastery is both interesting to explore and very accommodating. There are terraces everywhere you can sit, either in shade or in sunshine, library rooms indoors when the heat of the sun gets too much and a charming chapel complex where there was an exhibition of carved wooden Virgins from the medieval period together with the remnants...We selected this hotel after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor and were not disappointed! The location is stunning and the building complex of the monastery is both interesting to explore and very accommodating. We could not expect it to be better! Excellent organisation, excellent food, outstanding location. Recommendations from Cristina and Gianluca regarding music band, flower arrangements and even babysitters were spot on, which was very important since we organised the wedding from abroad. Our guests still keep on telling us how amazing this party was. We recommend it highly!!! Lorenza and PiotrWe celebrated our wedding at the Monastery on 21 August 2022. The entire evening was seamless with seasoned staff anticipating every need.
