Love this place! Warm and homely decor and atmosphere, and friendly and helpful staff. No pizza here - this Italian specialises in pasta and has a great range to choose from. Beyond amazing!!! The best meals we have ever had, perfect portion sizes, the staff excelled way beyond anything we've ever experienced, the food was just wow!!! My young son said that 'if there is food in heaven, this is what it tastes like'. These guys have created such a beautiful place and atmosphere that we felt like we were right there in Italy! Highly recommend this one.Beyond amazing!!! The best meals we have ever had, perfect portion sizes, the staff excelled way beyond anything we've ever experienced, the food was just wow!!! Fantastic food and service at Locanda Romana. We were only staying in Hawick for one night - hadn't thought to book and it was full, but the proprietor suggested we came back in an hour. We returned to a really friendly welcome, great service and truly delicious food. I'm only sorry we don't live closer so we could return on a regular basis.
