OUR HISTORY
The historic Rita Major hotel in the center of Florence dates back to the early 1950s. Its legacies are still present.
The hotel is located in a stately and elegant building, dated back to the 18th century, embellished with red brick arches that recall the ancient structure, and with special features as the inside private garden and the frescoed rooms that remember the ancient life.
OUR ROOMS
Hotel Rita Major consists of 32 confortable and welcoming rooms, equipped with comforts and services. Bright rooms in their white and cream colors, fornished in an essential way but also equipped with elegant accessories (as armchairs). All private bathrooms, in any room, are equipped with courtesy bathroom products.
The rooms overlooking the pretty garden give the priceless sensation to be outside the city center.

Simple rustic rooms with everything we needed for our honeymoon. Breakfast was a simple affair but just enough to get us started for a long day exploring the city. The staff were so helpful and gave us lots of recommendations and tips for places to eat and visit, even directions to get to places. Will definitely stay again if we can :) Lovely no frills hotel. This hotel is wonderful, the location is perfect, about 20 minutes from the centre. Furthermore, it is not only beautiful and peaceful, but because the magic of this place lies in its structure. Friendly, attentive and super available people at all times to help make your stay unforgettable. I'm vegan and on the first day I asked for a coffee with soy milk (which they shouldn't have) and they didn't have it.
