A lot of privacy but near to touristic placesA lot of privacy but near to touristic places
Lovely place to stay on the Umbrian country side. The huge domain offers a lot of privacy but is very near to a lot of touristic places in the neighborhood, e.g. Perugia, Assisi, etc. Andreas is a great host, always ready to serve his guests. On the domain you can: swim, ride horses, bike, walk in the wood, run up the hill, follow yoga sessions, etc. There is also a great restaurant serving fresh food from the region and the domain itself, e.g. tartuffe and olive oil. All what you need for your Lovely place to stay on the Umbrian country side. We had a wonderfull holidayWe had a wonderfull holiday
We had a wonderfull holiday in Poggiolo. We stayed in villa Lilla with the family. It is wonderfull because the Parc of the villa is beautyfull and big. There is a possibility to eat breakfast and lunch and diner. There is also a nice pool. As I have written in my other review of Il Poggiolo, this is: Best.Agriturismo.Ever. If you are looking for a serene and relaxing vacation in one of the most picturesque places in all of Umbria, this is the spot. I stayed dozens of times in this gem over a period of 20 years and every time I fall deeper in love with Il Poggiolo.As I have written in my other review of Il Poggiolo, this is: Best.Agriturismo.Ever. The villa is just lovely, it is a well proportioned building carefully renovated and furnished. In the grounds there is a good size pool and a restaurant is located in what used to be the chapel. We really enjoy the ambiance We really enjoy the ambiance
We have stayed at the Villa Poggiolo twice already and we are looking forward to spending time there again in the future. Whenver we stay at Il Poggiolo, Giovanna really makes us feel like we are home away from home. We like very much being in a country setting, but very close to town and wonderful places to visit. We really enjoy the ambiance in this Umbrian villa, our strolls in the park and being close to beautiful horses.We have stayed at the Villa Poggiolo twice already and we are looking forward to spending time there again in the future.
