Staff was extremely accommodating to all our needsStaff was extremely accommodating to all our needs
We were there after the busy season. The castle was quiet and closed. We stayed in one of the apartments next to the castle. It was a great time to go. The crowds were smaller in November. We were able to tour the castle before we left and I must say it is beautiful. We got an up close view without the crowds. The staff was extremely accommodating to all our needs.We were there after the busy season. The castle was quiet and closed. We stayed in one of the apartments next to the castle. Amazing place! We held a 50-year birthday party in July 2023 and it worked perfectly for our needs. The place has an interesting history and is also rustic but still well functioning. A little warm in the summer months (most rooms don't have AC), but at least during our stay there was always enough breeze to make our stay fine. The owner Cosimo and the team with Stefania, Valentina and Matteo are all super supportive and helped us a lot during months of planning, and everything worked out [...]Amazing place! My husband and I stayed for 6 nights at Castello di Montegufoni and just absolutely fell in love. Our view was incredible and the room was perfect for us. We were close by to so many day trips that made the location perfect. Parking at the Castello was easy and the staff was not only kind, but so helpful. If you're expecting a hotel like environment, that is not what you'll get. Instead, it was comparable to staying in an airbnb, but much more to offer! [...]My husband and I stayed for 6 nights at Castello di Montegufoni and just absolutely fell in love. Our view was incredible and the room was perfect for us. We were close by to so many day trips that made the location perfect. Parking at the Castello was easy and the staff was not only kind, but so helpful. Wonderful place! Wonderful place!
Wonderful place! Very clean. Very comfortable. Our room was actually 2 big rooms, a small room and a full bathroom with shower, not a tub. 1 room had a small kitchen with a medium fridge and items to cook and eat with, including a dining table and comfortable lazy boy type chair to sit in. The ceilings were high and we could have slept 2 on the pullout couch, 2 in the big bedroom, and another in the smaller bedroom. There were fans to cool off with in each room, no ac. [...]Wonderful place! Very clean. Very comfortable.
