The facilities are impeccableThe facilities are impeccable
We had a wonderful stay at the Borgo. The facilities are impeccable, the staff was courteous and the food was amazing. We went on vacation here with my 4 and 6 yo. I will say, if you plan to leave the Borgo, it’s a good idea to rent a car. There is a fixed rate for a taxi to and from the train station or Siena for 32 euro each way (25min). The Borgo also has a scheduled shuttle to Siena you have to pre-book (15 euro/person/each way). But if you are just looking for rest and relaxation...We had a wonderful stay at the Borgo. 10/10 highly recommend on all levels. A 5-star hotel with 5-star amenities. The room we stayed in was absolutely impeccable. Very clean, very spacious, beautifully constructed. We were on our honeymoon and were welcomed with a small bottle of wine and a hand written note congratulating us. The service was immaculate as well. Everyone that worked there was extremely nice and very accommodating. The front desk workers always greeted us with a smile and were happy to call all of our transfers...10/10 highly recommend on all levels. A 5-star hotel with 5-star amenities. Borgo Scopeto is a stunning property but the people are what make this relais truly special! Starting with the guest relations team up front (Matilde + Malvina!!) who helped us orchestrate a wedding proposal without ever seeing the property before we arrived. They got everything set up for us with flowers and drinks, etc. The food on property is delicious -- fine dining restaurant but they have a Bistro menu and lounge area for a more relaxed vibe. Beds and rooms were so clean, well decorated...Borgo Scopeto is a stunning property but the people are what make this relais truly special!
