MORE THAN ONE HUNDRED YEARS OF HOSPITALITY The history of Hotel Bella begins in the early 20th Century, The earliest documentation dates back to 1908, when the first official licence to rent out rooms and run a restaurant was garanted. Following his intuition, Mr. Pietro Bella and his wife Ermenegilda “Marietta” Baccolo, turned the lodging into a little hotel with a few rooms. The enchanting location quickly became the preferred destination for fishermen and local painters to enjoy fish dishes and wine. Over the years, the owners constantly renewed and enlarged the hotel to better accomodate their customers, as the architecture shows. Since the early 40’s the once little lodging at the shore of Europe’s most beautiful lake, Lake Garda, developed into a well-know hotel with a refined restaurant. Pietro Domenighini, the founder’s nephew, and his wife Magda Novelli further developed both service and quality, and during this economic and artistic “Golden Age”, the hotel hosted celebrites of the time. By the end of the 90′s , the hotel looked as it does today. The new proprietors started the new millennium with remodelling measures. Today, as yesterday, the hotel emanates its history that developed it into one of the jewels of the Lake Garda hotel businesses, featuring tradition, quality and a staff dedicated to making their guest’s stay an unforgettable pleasure. The latest structural modification provides guests with more suites and further amenities such as underground parking, the Beauty Area, the new, relaxing SPA area and modern Meeting rooms.
