I cannot quite put in words how wonderful our time was; the food is amazing, the atmosphere is incredible, and the staff is warm and welcoming. Pat and Una have a nearly encyclopedic knowledge of the area, so if you want to see the sites they can casually build you an itinerary while serving you a drink. They also know everyone in the area so if you need a reservation, they tell you who to call and what to say. My wife and I spent a lovely (albeit brief) holiday in the Air B&B behind the pub. The bar owner is very kind and good person, who allways come and check or everything is ok for his clients,i appreciate for all his kind. He even make a birthday present for my niece it was amazing. In total a party of 11 on short booking notice. I had no doubt of the food quality or atmosphere of the restaurant i was a little wary of the kids but i had nothing to fear the staff were excellent top notch and extremely helpful and friendly top class service. Especially for the kids and its great for them to experience quality foodIv been here a few time with adult friends and family however today i decided i was bringing my wife and kids my sister and nieces and nephews and my mother in-law. In total a party of 11 on short booking notice. It was the perfect place for a small wedding: we ate in a gorgeous little room and it was a perfect size for our wedding party. Una, Pat and all of the staff genuinely made us all feel so welcome, they really went above and beyond for us. The food was absolutely wonderful, a menu that appeals to everyone’s liking. We had the most amazing day of our lives. We had our wedding at Weirs Restaurant and we could not have been happier. The venue and village is so picturesque and charming. It was the perfect place for a small wedding: we ate in a gorgeous little room and it was a perfect size for our wedding party. The best wedding was probably the young couple with 14 of their immediate family, and their new baby, a christening cake, a white wedding dress and dinner was served outside on the best day of the year. black and white photo, bride handing her husband a pint of guinness which she has poured.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Johnny Depp and Cillian Murphy have eaten here, the Irish International rugby team had an amazing night in Weirs and lots of other regular guests are celebrities
