From the early stages of planning to the big day, you’ll find that our professional management team is able to offer invaluable advice on all aspects of this memorable occasion, to make your wedding in Youghal and East Cork just perfect. You will arrive at the Walter to our red carpet welcome and receive a celebratory drinks reception, tea, coffee and freshly baked fruit scones with strawberry jam and cream. Your guests will be free to enjoy our foyer area and The Walter bar. The ballroom will be styled for your banquet using our silver candelabras including candles, table mirrors, tale vases with linen floral displays. The chairs will be fitted with white covers and ivory sashes. A fairy lit backdrop will be installed behind the top table to provide that special day effect. Your menu will be designed with our executive chef after you have enjoyed your tasting menu. We will detail and agree the full serving plan for your wedding banquet and incorporate any individual requests as required such as vegetarian, coeliac or other special dietary needs. We will professionally serve wine and champagne be it yours or ours to your guests if required. We will provide late night food for your guests and we offer a complimentary bar extension so that you and your guests can dance the night away. You will enjoy the complimentary use of the bridal suite along with two additional double rooms for the wedding night. The Walter Raleigh Hotel is a family run hotel and we welcome children of all ages.

Had an amazing stayHad an amazing stay
Had an amazing stay... little mix up with our room which was upsetting as it was our 10th wedding anniversary, however, Tomas could not do enough to make our stay lovely, as much as I'm disappointed about the room I must say or stay was wonderful and the food is amazing. Beautiful inside Beautiful inside
Ive been to 2 weddings and have also had meals there and i would have to say tjey are outstanding. Quality of food is second to none and ive never come across staff so professional and friendly - they cant do enough for you. Visited here for a wedding, both the ceremony and the dinner/night party. The whole experience was amazing, the room and setting for the wedding was lovely, great staff and friendly atmosphere. The bar was well staffed and the meal was brilliant, with 6 courses of well prepared and delicious food. Again staffing was good. Evening party was good, nice atmosphere and staffing again with great evening food to soak up the alcohol!Visited here for a wedding, both the ceremony and the dinner/night party. We had our wedding at the Walter Raleigh on the 18th of Feb we cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Everything from start to finish was amazing . A massive thank you to Michael Thomas Brian and Jason and all the fab staff for the hard work they put in for making the day amazing.
