The perfect wedding venue, The Thatched Cottage, offers an exciting alternative wedding venue for couples. Build your dream wedding in the private settings of our luxurious Banquet Room. We are delighted to facilitate civil ceremonies in-house, allowing for a truly intimate experience at the Thatched Cottage in Ballycommon.

Lovely place with lots of character. Family friendly with a good choice of food. Plenty of room inside and parking outside. Would definitely recommend for friendly staff and good food. Was at a celebratory function last night, the staff were friendly, efficient and I couldn't fault them. The copper room is an amazing space, beautifully decorated. We had a table for a first Holy Communion in a nice private room. The food was amazing, service friendly, and very accommodating. Noreen, Orlagh, and Paudie couldn't do more for us. Ive been here several times for communions, lunches and dinners even weddings and ive always enjoyed the food. great value for money with good size portions. kids area outside with a seating area also. We passed here on our way to a wedding on coolbawn so we decided to pop in. Delighted we did. Beautiful pub with plenty of character and friendly staff. Weve come to Ireland for a wedding and this restaurant was reccomended ... it was absolutely lovely!!! The food was delicious, staff were lovely, drinks well priced and such a nice place. We came here whilst on holiday from wales for a wedding, and can honestly say if we lived locally this would be one of our favourite spots.
