The Castle Hotel is delighted to announce that it holds a civil ceremony venue license and has a capacity to seat up to 120 of your family and close friends for your ceremony.
We offer the choice of two beautiful venues for civil ceremonies. The Ardilaun Suite can host your civil wedding ceremony for larger wedding numbers and smaller more intimate gatherings take place in our Residents Lounge, with rich velvet decor, original fire-place and views of the old world market town of Macroom.
Our Civil Ceremony package includes beautiful room decor including chair covers & coordinating bows, and beautiful candle arrangements. You and your guests may then dine either in The Arbutus Private Dining Suite or The Ardilaun Banqueting Suite. An experienced personal Wedding Co-Ordinator offering expert advice for your preparations & reception for up to 130 of your wedding guests. Other service includes:

Kay the wedding coordinator is the best. I planned our wedding from Sydney and Kay was so helpful. I had regular emails to touch base and see if there was anything she could do for us from her end. I guarantee you won't be disappointed if you stay or have a wedding at The Castle Hotel.The most amazing team of staff. I have never felt so relaxed and at home in a hotel. Kay the wedding coordinator is the best. I planned our wedding from Sydney and Kay was so helpful. I had regular emails to touch base and see if there was anything she could do for us from her end. I guarantee you won't be disappointed if you stay or have a wedding at The Castle Hotel.

Everybody in our group said the same thing, the staff are a real credit to the hotel. The meal was perfect, the rooms where spotless and the staff very obliging. Only thing that can be improved is you would drive straight past the entrance to the car park to the rear, it's the turn just before the hotel through a narrow residential road, a big sign would fix this though. I intend on returning here again in the future.Attended this hotel as best man for a wedding, cannot fault a thing! First of all because of the flexibility, we emailed two days prior to arrival and extended for a night which was no issue. Secondly and mostly, the staff is extraordinary: polite, friendly, accommodating and simply very pleasant. Checking in and out was super easy, we were also able to store our luggage for a few hours before departure. The room was clean and bigger than expected.We stayed for 3 nights because of a wedding in the area and were positively surprised. Secondly and mostly, the staff is extraordinary: polite, friendly, accommodating and simply very pleasant.
