When we arrived with John, Conor and Alison meeting us at the front door along with our guests, I could feel that we were in the best of hands and this continued throughout the day and night. Alison and the entire team were just amazing and accommodating throughout the entire process. No request was too big. We had the most amazing day and everything ran seamlessly. The Ardilaun really know how to do weddings and we could not fault anything. Im just sad we can’t do it all over again. There’s a lovely atmosphere in the hotel which I think is so special and I’ve never experienced anywhere else like this. I would recommend a thousand timeWe got married in the Ardilaun in December 2024. Alison and the entire team were just amazing and accommodating throughout the entire process. No request was too big. They went above and beyond nothing we asked was too much trouble and they made us feel at ease for the whole duration. We had 140 guests from England & they have all said how lovely and accommodating all the hotel staff were! If your thinking of staying here or even better getting married here don’t think anymore do it!! Galway city was eletric and the weather turned out good which is always a bonus! We were very conscious of getting good value for our guests travelling from so far away ( Australia New Zealand and America. ) They were all really happy with the accommodation and value of it. Absolutely. You’ll have a dedicated wedding coordinator, Lola Campbell to guide you throughout the planning process and support you on the day so that the only thing you need to worry about on the day is having fun!
Can we host our ceremony onsite?
Yes, we have beautiful ceremony options available, both indoors and outdoors.
Can we bring our own suppliers?
We have a list of trusted recommended suppliers, but you’re welcome to bring your own—just let us know in advance so we can coordinate.
Is there accommodation available for guests?
Yes, we offer discounted room rates for wedding guests and a complimentary suite for the couple on the wedding night as well as for the parents of the newly weds.
What happens if it rains for an outdoor ceremony?
We always have a beautiful indoor backup option prepared—just in case!
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Absolutely. Just let us know any allergies or dietary preferences, and our chef will ensure everyone is well taken care of.
How far in advance should we book?
The Ardilaun is a popular Galway wedding venue, so we recommend booking 12–18 months in advance, especially for summer and weekend dates.
