From our very first consultation to the big day itself, they went above and beyond to ensure everything was flawless. I must have sent them hundreds of emails, and they always responded quickly, warmly, and with such patience. On the day of our wedding, they were nothing short of phenomenal—ensuring everything ran seamlessly and offering support whenever needed. Arizbeth, in particular, was a calming presence, helping me feel at ease and allowing me to truly enjoy every moment. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how wonderful the venue and team were. Everyone felt so welcomed and cared for, and the atmosphere was one of pure joy. And then there was the food—what an absolute highlight! Everything about this venue is magical, the team led by Arizabeth were both professional and met all of our wishes. The ambience, the rooms, the Chapel and Ballroom were faultless. Our guests were raving about the day, such a special place, the memories will stay with us forever.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue than The Abbey for our autumn wedding! From the very first visit, we were blown away by its beauty—it’s the perfect mix of gothic romance and rustic luxury, with a warmth that made it feel so special for our big day. What truly sets The Abbey apart, though, is the wonderful staff! They were attentive, professional, and always a step ahead. During the planning process we had so many questions and they answered each one patiently, making us feel confident and stress-free. On the day itself, their care and attention to detail ensured everything ran smoothly, allowing us to truly enjoy every moment. We truly can't thank Arizbeth, Gwen and Lisa enough for their help - they were absolutely incredible and so kind. Our autumn setting at The Abbey was totally magical. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how stunning the space was and how flawlessly everything was executed. And of course, nobody could get over how good the food was! Myself and my husband are both vegan, and we had lots of veggie and vegan guests which we thought would be troublesome but The Abbey catered for everyone flawlessly. The food was absolutely unreal, I'll be dreaming of it for years! If you’re considering The Abbey for your wedding, stop hesitating—you won’t regret it! Our wedding at The Abbey was nothing short of magical! The venue perfectly blended modern décor with the charm of an old chapel, creating a stunning backdrop for our celebration. It was exactly what we were looking for—a venue that combined historic elegance with contemporary style, all in one. The food from the 3 Cooks was incredible. Every course was not only delicious but beautifully presented, leaving our guests talking about it long after the event. The flavors were exquisite, and the variety was spot on for every taste. We’re still getting compliments on how amazing the meal was! Our photographer Andy (forgedinlovephotgraphy) was in the Abbey’s recommended suppliers list and was amazing! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend The Abbey to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable celebration. From the stunning venue to the exceptional service and unforgettable food, it was the perfect day in every way!

What an incredible venue that went above and beyond to make our day so special. We cannot thank Arizbeth and all the team for by far the best day of our lives. Guests have not stopped talking about the staff, their attentiveness, their professionalism and their warmth when welcoming them. The food was incredible. Arizbeth and the team were so lovely and helpful at every stage of wedding planning, from our initial viewing right through to the big day. The venue itself is stunning with the chapel for the ceremony and after party being a huge selling point - everyone was raving about how fabulous it was! And the meal provided by 3Cooks is simply stunning - a true fine dining experience and absolutely flawless. We had several guests with allergies and all were so grateful that they were accommodated so well.

Our wedding in The Abbey was wonderful in nearly every way. The food was to die for, the setting was beautiful - classy, charming, and elegant. Our guests still mention the food, and I don't think I've tasted a better meal anywhere - never mind at a wedding! Fussy eaters were well-catered for, which was an extra unexpected bonus. The tasting day before the wedding was an excellent opportunity to see the Abbey alive with people, and we knew that we had made the right choice.

We got married in the Abbey on 18th October 2024 and could not have been happier with our experience. Arizbeth and team are so professional and organized, and the day went perfectly as a result. The food from 3Cooks was delicious and served so expertly by Jamie and the serving team. The venue itself is a lovely historical venue that has been tastefully restored and is the perfect choice for those looking for an exclusive hire venue. We had the best weekend of our lives thanks to the Abbey. The venue is beautiful and unique, staff are amazing and food is out of this world.
