Offering beautifully appointed reception rooms in which to welcome and host guests to a relaxed pre dinner reception of drinks and canapés. Then proceed down the winding staircase to the magnificent Orangery where dining, worthy of its surroundings, will be served with great care and attention to detail. This wonderful light filled space is adorned with chandeliers, gilt edged mirrors, crisp white linens and Chiavari chairs, offering a seamless link to an outdoor terrace and gardens that lay beyond. When it comes to your Wedding Dinner, Tankardstown will not disappoint. Tankardstown accommodates weddings from 50 to 250 guests, from an intimate family wedding to a larger celebratory style wedding. Both Civil Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships can be held within the House and when the weather permits, in the beautifully manicured Walled Garden. On the day the venue, grounds and accommodation were immaculate, and the way the staff dealt with us and our guests was brilliant - they made everyone feel so special and important! Again Ruth on the day, aided by Des in the evening were fantastic and made our day and evening everything we wanted and so much more! We absolutely loved this venue and had the best time!
