Description
Springfield castle is approved as a wedding venue by the HSE for civil weddings as well as wedding blessing ceremonies. We have a maximum capacity for 70 people.While the castle and tower sleep a maximum of 25 guests with luxury accommodation, we can cater for up to 35 guests for a wedding dinner in the East Tower dining room but for larger weddings of up to 70(or for a different style), guests can eat in the Green Room. Springfield Castle is a unique venue, exclusively yours to enjoy. Your ceremony is held in our ceremony room in our renovated medieval tower. There is no formula in Springfield and we will work directly with you to ensure you have a unique and special day. We have a 3 seasons in Springfield. There is low season which is March, October, November and December(excluding Christmas week and New year week) During this period we have a 2 night minimum stay but if you stay for 3 nights the third night is free. The accommodation price for 2/3 nights is €6700. A week during this period is €10,500. Then April, May and September is mid season and during this period you can only rent on a 7 day basis from Friday to Friday and the cost is €11,300.For June, July and August there is also a 7 night minimum stay from Friday to Friday and the cost is €15,500 On top of these costs is a venue fee to hold the wedding on site which is €2000 for up to 35 ppl. €2500 for up to 50ppl and €3500 for up to 70 ppl. Then you have your food costs which range start at €55 pp including a half bottle of wine pp.

The venue has a magical feeling to it, a setting fit for a princess. The food was fantastic - the traditional roast was well proportioned and delicious. The courtyard was lit up at night and was stunning! Karen was easy to coordinate with, answered emails quickly and made our special day easy to execute, even when planning from afar.We spent an amazing week at Springfield Castle, where we had a stunning wedding! The day went without any issues, everything was ready for us and nothing was a problem for them. The venue was amazing, rustic but so comfortable. All our guests were in awe of the rooms, the grounds and the house. The facilities were fab - our own private pub with a suna and plunge pool the next morning to get us ready for the day ahead. The food was amazing, more than one guest told us that the chicken from the asado was the best they ever had! The tables and ceremony space were decorated with no fuss and beautifully prepared. The wedding somehow managed to be formal and casual at the same time, we had so much fun in this homely but classical venue. I can't reccommend Springfield Castle enough. It was genuinely the best day of my life. As soon as you travel down the 3/4 mile driveway you instantly know your are in for something special, the castle is an amazing building with the rooms exceptionally furnished and we had the whole place to ourselves. The ceremony rooms and the food done by Karen and her team really did make the dream wedding. Springfield Castle, Karen and all her staff made our wedding nothing short of perfect!
