The Venue
Rock Farm Slane have been hosting weddings since 2014.
Most of our couples opt for a combination of outdoor ceremony using the stretch tent or the Glamping Site followed by a drinks reception served from Le Shack, with dinner and dancing in the Hay Barn which seats up to 200 people. This allows guests to make the most of all the outdoor and indoor space we have in the Glamping, Lime House and Hay Barn areas.
We have beautiful settings for you to choose from each offering you the opportunity to create your own bespoke wedding. Simply decide on venue type, menu, theme and size of wedding and we can prepare a costing to suit your budget.

I think a lot of people might be put off by choosing an outdoor wedding with the risk of weather but all our our guests said it made the day all the more romantic and memorbable-just tell them to come prepared! The rain only kept everyone together, and the ice filled bath tub at reception was perfect. The dinner worked amazingly, guests were delighted they could go up for seconds. All the staff were friendly, and Elle in particular was very accommodating to any requests. In summary: Food was excellent Spaces were excellent Staff were excellent Prices were incredibly reasonable. We moved over to the Swallows Nest Friday and Saturday night which was so lovely as you have so much privacy as a couple. Can we host a civil ceremony/civil partnership at our venue?
Couples looking to host a civil ceremony/civil partnership at Rock Farm Slane would need to contact Meath County Council Registrar directly for pre-authorisation for approval of venue.
Are we pet friendly?
Yes, both locations are pet friendly. We do charge a small fee per pet and request they are kept on lead while around the property. Please bring a cage/kennel for them to sleep in.
Can you accommodate pre and post wedding celebrations?
Yes, we can. We have plenty of options to host your additional celebrations, we can cater for them, provide drinks, etc.
Can we bring in our own catering/food trucks/etc?
No. We have an in-house catering team who operate in both locations and would be happy to assist in catering a personalised menu to suit your needs.
Are the properties wheelchair accessible?
Yes, both properties are wheelchair accessible, and we will discuss with you in advance the exact requirements needed so we can ensure a smooth stay.
Do you have a wedding planner who can organise the day for us?
No, but we can recommend some local planners who can assist in sourcing and arranging all your suppliers and set-ups.
Is there parking available?
Both locations have plenty of free car parking and we provide attendants on the day to assist your guests.
I want an outdoor ceremony, but it's raining the week of my wedding.
We will decide around 3 days before your wedding on whether we can accommodate your outdoor ceremony. We will never make a final decision without consulting you, we will make our recommendations based on providing you and your wedding party with the highest standard event.
