Let Rathsallagh host your big day!. Located in Ireland just south of Dublin ( 55 mins Dublin Airport) on the Kildare Wicklow border Rathsallagh is closed exclusively to you for your Wedding Day. Enjoy the fantastic scenery, the wonderful facilities and the great location Rathsallagh has to offer you and your wedding party with 270 acres of Parkland and Walled Gardens. Rathsallagh prides itself on wonderful cuisine sourced locally, many of the Herbs and Vegetables used are grown in our own Gardens. Rathsallagh can also cater for all types of civil ceremonies and blessings.
Rathsallagh has won many awards for its restaurant and the main focus at here is on the food and service: a magnificent 5-Course Dinner cooked to order, with fish and vegetarian options provided, all allergies taken into account. The bedrooms at Rathsallagh are luxurious charming, comfortable, and individual.
We have years of experience in relation to on site blessings and other types of wedding ceremonies.
Since the law changed in relation to Civil Ceremonies out side of a Registry Office in Ireland Rathsallagh has hosted over 350 on site civil cermonies. To avoid using the same room as that for the reception we can offer a number of options both indoor and out from our Orangery ( indoor 100 guests ) and Walled Gardens ( outdoor 200 + ) to the Grannary ( indoor 200+) ).
As Wedding venues must have an individual inspection for each and every on site civil marriage ceremony, the Health Service Executive prohibits establishments from advertising the fact they have been generally approved to hold such ceremonies. However Rathsallagh House can advise that they have experienced inspections for the purposes of being approved for the holding of a Civil Marriage Ceremony and have hosted a large number of such ceremonies on site.

Wedding menus at Rathsallagh can start from as little as €100 per guest for an incredible meal prepared to your own specifications. In addition there is no charge for exclusive use or room hire, and the bride and groom get to stay with our compliments. We also have a superb entertainment offer with our House Band and DJ.

We found them an incredible venue to deal with in the lead up, aswell as a pitch perfect performance on the day. Spectacular surroundings, wonderful food, and the best service. From our initial tour with Joe, we knew Rathsallagh was our dream wedding venue. It prides itself on sustainability, while providing the highest service and best food we’ve had at weddings! Our wedding coordinator Megan, aswell as Catherine and her entire team, was superb to deal with. They worked with us on the coordination of the day: what would work and what they thought might work better. We trusted their experience and knowledge, which ultimately paid off on the day. They helped us work through how each moment would work best. At our menu tasting, the staff were so helpful at helping us choose our menu and even allowed us to to an ingredient swap… once the chef was okay with it of course! Our wedding happened during the fuel protests. The Rathsallagh House team went above and beyond to accommodate our guests and vendors travelling from across the country and arriving on the day. They greeted all guests and guided them to the best place to park. They helped our guests throughout the day and particularly made us feel extra special with some small but special touches. We both got ready at Rathsallagh, using the bride and grooms rooms, having our first look in the walled garden, before our ceremony in the granary. We were so delighted we did as we each had a fantastic time getting ready with our wedding party in such a great environment. We had our drinks reception inside, and our meal & dancing in the pavilion. Our guests could not get over the high quality of service, the food throughout the day, and the beautiful accommodation. We could not thank each and every staff member enough. The day (and Day 2) absolutely flew by, but we remember each of the small moments that the Rathsallagh team went above and beyond for us. We were so delighted with Rathsallagh House: they really made for a perfect wedding celebration.
