We had great weather which meant we spent most our time in the beautiful garden/courtyard. The large dinning room and bar area meant we could have meals together and the kitchen was fully equipped for catering for bigger groups. Preston House is a perfect place for big groups with lots of free on street parking but also good public transport links and lots of things to do in walkinThe house itself was impressive, with its wonderful history on display. It’s hard to choose just one – every wedding at Preston House brings its own magic! From intimate celebrations with just close family, to weekends filled with laughter, dancing, and joyful moments among friends, each one is memorable in its own way. We love seeing couples make the house their own, whether it’s with candlelit dinners, cosy chats in the sitting room, or garden drinks on a sunny afternoon.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One of our favourite personal touches was when a couple transformed Preston House into a walk through their love story. They set up framed photos and little signs throughout the rooms, marking special milestones like their first date, first holiday, and the proposal. Guests followed this charming path as they moved through the house, creating a truly immersive and emotional experience.

We like to say every guest is treated like a celebrity at Preston House – and we mean it. Whether you're walking in for a relaxed planning visit or arriving in style on the big day, you’ll get our full red carpet treatment (minus the paparazzi!).

We work with several incredible chefs and caterers, and each brings their own unique style and flavours to the table. From elegant bites to rustic platters, our couples love having the freedom to choose what suits them best.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
We’d have to go with the classic: a late-night spread of traditional finger food always hits the spot after a night of dancing. There’s something about trays of warm bites and comfort favourites that brings everyone back together before the night winds down.

We're most proud of the feeling guests take away after spending time at Preston House. Whether it's a couple celebrating their wedding or a family gathering for a special occasion, people often tell us they felt truly at home here.
