What a wonderful hotel from the time I drove into the car park it was fantastic, lovely warm welcome at reception all the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was to a very high standard and the food was excellent as well overall a wonderful time most definitely worth a visit..

Great food and staff. Lovely rooms. And great breakfast. Was there for a wedding and highly recommend!

simply magical

We had wedding at the hotel in August, all journey with them was simply magical, Phil couldn't be more helpful with any questions. Karolina was little fairy godmother making day very special. Boys at the bar made every crazy cocktail idea possible with no hesitation. Food as always was magnificent. Couldn't recommend this place enough. Old Ground you always will have very special place in my heart. Thank you

We had our wedding reception in The Old Ground Hotel 10 years ago. It was the most amazing day! People still to this day talk about our wedding. The Old Ground is second to none. We recently had our baby boy's Christening there 4 weeks ago. We were greeted by the owner Alan,who is a pure gent! Dealt with Phil and Lydia who helped organise our Son's special day and nothing was too much for them.

Absolutely brilliant hotel

Absolutely brilliant hotel, was at a lovely wedding. It was ideal, the service was had there so all in one place. Staff were brilliant, checked in with great ease, roommate lovely updated bathrooms and nicely appointed spacious room. The wedding meal was restaurant quality as well as being organised. One guest was vegan and had their own menu with lovely choices.
