The Lansdowne Kenmare has been part of the history of Kenmare since it was built as the town residence of William Perry Fitzmaurice in 1790, the 2nd Earl of Shelbourne, and is one of the oldest landmarks in Kenmare.

Food, cocktails, rooms all excellent. Rooms extremely comfortable and modern and a powerful shower to wake you up the next morning. But it’s the staff make this a very special place. The food was beautiful, the service excellent and the setting beautiful. We were lucky because our previous booking with Brooklane hotel was cancelled at short notice because they got a bigger party. So Landsdowne is now on our list to return rather than our previous choice for dinner in Kenmare.We were so fortunate to book here for a dinner cum family reunion.
