Having begun the tradition in 1938 Ned & Bridie Langton ran a public house. The ‘original’ premises was a home from home for many, the boarding house above the pub was always busy and many a person began their stay in Kilkenny as a guest of Ned & Bridie. The family tradition of a warm welcome into comfortable surroundings and a delicious and hearty meal began. Through the passing of time but without compromising the core values Langton House Hotel has risen to become a four-star hotel where luxury, sophistication and glamour sit comfortably alongside good fun, indulgence and a feeling of welcome.
