Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Estate

We chose Glenlo Abbey Hotel and Estate for our Wedding initially because of the setting, it over looks Lough Corrib and has two antique train carriages along with an 18th Century Abbey. On reflection though it was the staff that made our day amazing, especially Casey our Wedding Co-Ordinator she was exceptional in making every aspect of our wedding day perfect.

Our wedding at Glenlo Abbey Hotel and Estate was truly magical. The location was stunning and the staff's attention to detail made our day perfect. Thank you for everything! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day.

We had our destination wedding at the Glenlo and it exceeded all expectations. It is a bit nerve wracking having a destination wedding at a venue you have never seen prior, but the team made it seamless! We have been to Ireland a few times, but never to the Glenlo. When we researched venues we feel in love with it online and after our initial call, there was no question about having our wedding there. How amazing this venue and the team are. I would get married there again ten times over!

I wanted to drop a short note to express our heartfelt thanks to the team at Glenlo Abbey Hotel and Estate for helping us put on the most magical day for our Wedding. It was a dream come true for me getting married there being that I had expressed at the age of 9 to my parents that that was the place I would one day marry. Everything went like a dream that day. We look forward to returning to the venue on our next trip home!

I have just celebrated my wedding at Glenlo Abbey. If TripAdvisor had six stars – I wouldn’t hesitate to give them on this review. Everything from planning the wedding, to checking out the next day was utterly seamless, professional and delightful. The service experienced by all our guests, including lots of children, was of the very highest calibre and everyone felt completely looked after. The hotel is simply beautiful and elegant. Our wedding was absolutely perfect from arrival on Thursday until we left on Monday. Dan and I couldn't be happier. For what it's worth, I've worked with many event planners for both weddings and corporate events, but the service and staff we found at Glenlo Abbey Hotel was an A+++ ! On top of every detail and so accommodating to every request. Dan and I loo forward to visiting Glenlo again soon!

As a wedding Photographer I had an amazing time capturing weddings here. A stunning venue inside and out with an abundance of amazing photo locations around the venue both inside and out (and who can forget the train ) having such a verity of photo locations leads to an amazing gallery. Amazing staff and food. An amazing venue all around.
