We can accommodate smaller gatherings of 120 guests and larger gatherings of up to 350 guests, as we have a choice of two exquisite ballrooms; Our Ballyvaughan Suite and our Lettermore Suite.
Our newly renovated Seascape Lounge is the perfect location for an intimate drink’s reception after your ceremony, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean with breath-taking views of the Clare Mountains. One of the unique offerings at Galway Bay Hotel include indoor or outdoor ceremonies, perfect for intimate gatherings or larger outdoor celebrations.

They supported and thought of all our needs throughout the week, making the whole event so special for our family & friends. We will be heading back there in 2025 with all of our friends stating the same.The Galway Bay Hotel is a superb hotel, we recently held a family wedding there and we cannot thank Eoin, Louise & Jenny and the rest of the hotel staff enough for all of the hard work they put in. Eoin ,Louise and Jenny deserve a special mention. Despite other events going on in the hotel ,we felt it could not have gone better and were so glad, as were our guests that we had the second night in the hotel. I cannot praise this hotel enough and the comments from our guest assure us there will be return trips to the Galway Bay Hotel. We recently had our daughters wedding at the Galway Bay Hotel the staff were compassionate, conscientious and caring. Eoin ,Louise and Jenny deserve a special mention. It was nothing short of perfect from start to finish. Louise was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make our day so special. The wedding decor and attention to detail in the function room was absolutely stunning. The food was delicious and service was top class. We cannot fault the hotel or the staff in any way, we literally do not have one thing to complain about. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough. From day one Louise was absolutely amazing going above and beyond throughout planning and on the day her work, attention to detail and care was honestly beyond exceptional. Our guests are still speaking about the beautiful food and excellent service. Best decision we made was choosing the Galway Bay for our day.We got married in the Galway Bay Hotel on the 29.3.2025. From the first meeting with Alannah we were hooked, we were so well looked after and felt extremely welcomed. The Ballyvaughan suite was decorated beautifully. We had 100 guests and everyone just slotted in so well - not too crowded but with plenty of room for our guests who were in prams. All the staff were so friendly and made everything so easy. - PPatricia Clarke19/06/2023Amazing VenueAmazing VenueWe had our daughters wedding here, and the attention to detail was just amazing, Alana and Louise went above and beyond,and made us feel very special, All the staff are just so friendly, can't praise them enough, from the managers to the service crew, bar staff waiting staff reception , and the girls in the leisure centre ,were all just great, I will definitely be back in a couple of months to explore more of Salthill, and staying in the amazing Galway Bay. Bar service was a little slow and they could have done with a few more staff behind the bar. Breakfast was great.What a fab hotel. The food was excellent and staff are so friendly. Special mention to Serena who served our table and was so attentive and no request was too much. The atmosphere in the bar for the drinks reception and during the meal was second to none and I would definitely recommend the hotel. Thanks to Louise who ran a great service, Chef Ciara & Alan and Ben from the bar who could not have done enough for us!Attended a wedding in the hotel and it was brilliant!
