Highlights of a wedding at the County Arms include our classic Georgian suites, 9 acres of immaculately kept park and grounds and our stunning award-winning walled garden complete with original Gazebo featuring gorgeous stained glass. Our dedicated wedding coordinator is on hand throughout the process, inviting you to a tour of our beautiful venue - which now includes The Pavillion, our new outdoor ceremony space. We will also supply a free menu tasting and overnight accommodation, giving you plenty of time to discuss all your heart desires with our team as well as getting access to our incredible list of tried and tested suppliers. The team at the County Arms made our day so special. They were so professional & helpful from the day we went for our viewing right through to the wedding day. They created a friendly & welcoming atmosphere for us & all of our guests on the day. We received so many compliments on the food, with some of our guests commenting that it was the best wedding meal they have ever had. From our very first encounter with Dee and the team at the County Arms we knew we were in safe hands. The team can’t do enough for us, and always go the extra mile. A very special mention to Dee, who was amazing, she made the whole process seamless, we couldn’t have asked for more. Our family and friends are still talking about the food, which was next level and plenty of it. We got married in the County Arms on 16th of September 2023. It was honestly the best day of our lives. From our very first meeting with Dee we both left knowing that it was the perfect place for us to have our wedding. The support throughout from both Dee and Niamh was amazing. Nothing phased them and they had the answers to all of our questions no matter how big or small. On the day the food was top quality and everyone spoke so highly of it. From our first meeting with Dee & the team, we loved the County Arms. Their professionalism and friendliness was like no other. Dee was so accommodating and no request was a problem. Myself and Joe cannot thank all the staff especially Dee and Niamh for all their help leading up and to and on the day of the wedding. We always got a response so quickly and efficiently. Everyone talked for days after about the food and hospitality of all the staff on our day. The gardens are just fantastic for pictures and we can't wait to get them back and see them. We couldn't recommend the hotel enough from start to finish. We had our wedding day on the 7/7/22 in the County Arms of Birr. The hotel and staff are just outstanding and amazing in this hotel. They went over and beyond for me and my husband to make our wedding day the most magical day of our lives. With covid we had to cancel twice and the staff and the hotel were just so understanding and they were so helpful organizing everything for us. Since we got married every guest that was at our wedding have not stopped talking about the staff in the County ArmsWe had our wedding day on the 7/7/22 in the County Arms of Birr. The hotel and staff are just outstanding and amazing in this hotel. They went over and beyond for me and my husband to make our wedding day the most magical day of our lives. We had our wedding in the County Arms last June and could not recommend Dee and all the staff highly enough, they were all amazing from start to finish and nothing was too much. Dee really takes the stress out of planning a wedding. The food was amazing and guests are still talking about it. The garden is stunning for photos. Thanks so much for making our day so special.
