Clone Country House

The property is truly delightful! Nestled in a remote, serene location close to nature, it offers a spacious and beautifully designed interior that perfectly complements the old Georgian style. Jeff has done an exceptional job curating art pieces and objects throughout the space. My queen room was especially comfortable, with a cosy bed and an excellent bathtub ideal for a relaxing soak. All the amenities exceeded expectations.

We really enjoyed our stay in Clone House. We were a group of 13, and had the house to ourselves. The local village is a 5 min drive away and is a beautiful small town. Orla's Kitchen from the local village catered for lunch and the food was super. Jeff and the staff went above and beyond, and the Italian food catered by the house for dinner was delicious. Breakfast the following morning was top-class.

The venue is absolutely stunning! Both the grounds and the house itself is out of this world. Jeff was very accommodating and gave us our space to really enjoy the hen party. Everything was very clean, the beds were really comfortable and we had so much space for everyone. We had free run of the kitchen facilities to cook our breakfast and eat in the big dining room the following morning. I would highly recommend this venue!

We had a great hen party here, the house was perfect! Plenty of rooms to sleep a group of 25, and a beautifully decorated general living space and spacious dining room. The bbq catering option was delicious. Jeff was very pleasant to deal with. Definitely recommend for a large group event

I came here with a group of friends for a party and we had such a lovely time. The house is gorgeous, the bedrooms are lovely and comfortable. The gardens are lovely and the kitchen was great. We had the whole place to ourselves, it felt like we had a little hotel all to ourselves.

We recently had our friend's hen party in Clone House and we are so glad we went with this venue! Jeff was so accommodating and the house and bedrooms were beautifully kept! The kitchen had everything we needed and more! I would definitely recommend Clone House for a hen party you won’t regret it!

My husband and I spent three wonderful days in historic Clone House. The ambience, the tranquility and the service were second to none. Svetlana was a warm, good humoured and amazing hostess, everything we needed was catered for. The breakfasts were delicious. Clone House is a heritage house where olde world charm meets modern day comforts ! The owners deserve huge credit for the hard work and intelligence they have put in to preserving this unique experience.

So consider it to be the best review you have ever read because the event which we held at Clone House was absolutely a wonderful and amazing experience. It is even better, nicer, tidier, more comfortable, more exclusive than you can see in the pictures. Like a movie set basically. Details for days. Furniture for Kings. Art everywhere, en-suite bathroom with fireplace (if the fireplace in the bedroom should not be enough ;)

We stayed at Clone House for a friend’s hen party. Jeff was very accommodating to our needs and whipped up a delicious bbq that evening. The bedrooms were gorgeous, beautifully decorated, and really spacious. The house was perfect for entertaining between the dining and drawing rooms in the house and the outdoor seating areas in the beautiful garden. We had a super weekend overall. Would definitely recommend.

Our eldest daughter was married here earlier this month. The minister, Geraldine, conducted the ceremony outside on their raised decking. It was a beautiful day and occasion. We had family and best friends only which totalled 18. Clone House is about 300 years old and has that " Old World " feel. The rooms are luxurious and some of the en suites are huge. An american gentleman, Jeff, and his wife Svetlana own and run the venue. They were superb and we dined in style.
