Our weddings are without stuffiness but with five-star service and food. If you wish to hold your ceremony at Blairscove, you can use either our marquee or our courtyard. On fine days, the courtyard is ideal for drinks receptions. The landscaped gardens and the backdrop of Dunmanus Bay are ideal for wedding photography and we have a marquee for your drinks reception in the event of bad weather. The wedding meal itself would be held in our restaurant. The restaurant, on one side of the courtyard quadrangle, used to be the property’s stable building. At almost 300 years old it is lofty, stone walled and black beamed with a magnificent chandelier as the central feature. During dinner our pianist will entertain you with light music. Getting married is one of life’s greatest adventures and we in Blairscove know how to make that special day even more special. Our team prides itself on making sure everything goes exactly to plan giving the wedding couple complete peace of mind without breaking the bank. Blairscove has been lovingly family owned for three generations and your wedding will be personally supervised by a member of our family. The best way to catch the atmosphere of a venue is to visit it and we would be very happy to show you around and talk you through your special day. Attended my friends wedding here, absolutely loved it, staff and owners were amazing. Food was flawless and we got to stay in one of the apartments, very clean and high standards maintained throughout. Couldn't fault the place, oh and the views!

We had a celebration meal here, and it was absolutely divine. A warm welcome from the attentive team, incredible atmosphere inside and out, live piano music and the best food I've ever tasted. I'm still thinking about the starter and dessert buffets! We're so lucky to have this incredible venue and restaurant on our doorstep.

the ideal wedding venue

Was recently working here for a wedding. From the get go I was treated like a guest which is rare to find these days in the hospitality industry. Woody made sure the wedding ran on time even with extended speeches threatened to delay the wedding an hour. He even helped move my equipment. Beautiful views, food and the ideal wedding venue. You can't go wrong booking here.

We held our wedding in Blairscove house in July 2023. We live abroad and only got to see the venue the day before our wedding. Ann, Woody and all the staff were amazing. Set in the idyllic picturesque countryside of West Cork, the drive up to the house saw the start of a magical stay. Breath taking views, beautiful old buildings restored to a high standard.
