Moulin de la Faubretière

A place of history and heritage The Moulin de la Faubretière in the heart of a natural site with its river and its green setting, contributes to the success of an unforgettable moment. Since the 12th century this site has been used to grind grain. A water wheel provided the power needed to process wheat for several centuries. All the great events of history have left their traces. The French Revolution notably through the destruction of a large number of mills. In 2018 renovation work transformed the mill into a privileged place for private or professional parties while preserving the Vendée architecture. During the reception or cocktail, come and toast in the shade in a charming annex or on a nature terrace. For meals and other celebrations, the reception room welcomes you in a very beautiful barn equipped with a mezzanine dedicated to musical or other entertainment. Open to the outside, it can accommodate 130 people for cocktails, and 80 to 100 in seats. Sleeping in the mill for 15 people is offered with all the comfort to stay serene and enjoy the calm and the song of nature when you wake up.
