Domaine des Escaunes is a beautiful place - for holidays and parties alike.
We celebrated an absolute dream wedding there for a whole weekend (Friday-Sunday) with around 85 people.
The location has a total of 22 rooms, all of which are very individually and charmingly furnished, some of which are barrier-free.
The food each day (we stayed out all weekend and used each courtyard for dinner) was exceptional, Sunday brunch in a beautiful garden and the staff are lovely. In particular, the two hosts Marc and Patricia are warm and (important for enthusiastic brides and grooms) well organized.
Chef Matteo is a creative mind who has imagined incredibly delicious dishes, both for the barbecue reception with Friday buffet, the champagne reception after the wedding with "flying finger food" and 2 cooking stations (foie gras and prawns with la plancha) and especially for ours Wedding dinner in the courtyard under the plane trees.
There are several lounges and party rooms, which are also the various rainy day options - but partying outside in the courtyards and extensive poolside gardens is particularly enjoyable. There was a super air-conditioned room for the party with maximum loud music.
The place is also wonderful for the holidays we have already spent there - also ideal for children, there is a trampoline, ping pong table and plenty of space. Dinner in the restaurant (currently as a 3 course menu) is excellent every time and the wine list is excellent.Domaine des Escaunes is a beautiful place - for holidays and parties alike.
