The buildings from the 14th and 16th centuries have retained their period charm: woodwork, old fireplaces, moldings, will take you back a few centuries. The pools, the magnificent lounges, the outbuildings and its consecrated chapel will allow you to become the lord of these places during your stay!!! A magnificent estate and adorable hosts. We had a perfect stay, beyond our expectations. The castle is superb and the rooms are very comfortable. A true haven of peace. A charming castle, very beautiful park around. The rooms are spacious, with central heating, very useful in late autumn. The owners are very friendly (ask for a tour of the castle, it's worth it). The castle is in a forest, offering great walking opportunities.A true haven of peace. Magnificent medieval rooms, a large living room, a superb chapel, immense gardens and a pretty lake await you there. Not to mention the hosts who are very kind and who gave us a warm welcome. The Château de Basché is truly an exceptional place! Quiet and intimate, we had the chance to celebrate our wedding there in June 2021. Majestic without being ostentatious, the place is as magnificent as its hosts, Madame MARÉ, her husband and their children are adorable. They have managed to keep the charm of yesteryear by making the place completely welcoming.
