From the moment I arrived, I was awed by the beauty and elegance of the property. Nestled within 45-acres, the chateau is a true gem. Its rich history adds an air of enchantment to every corner. The property boasts magnificent forests, a garden, and 2 lakes creating a serene and picturesque ambiance.I recently had the pleasure of staying at the magnificent Chateau de Veullerot for four delightful days, and I must say it was an experience beyond compare. Une demeure cossue, des chambres dont la décoration permet l'évasion, un parc remarquablement entretenu et surtout la qualité de l'accueil des hôtes: chaleureux, discrets, disponibles. Un grand merci !Nous avons vécu une parenthèse enchantée dans ce lieu lors de la célébration d'un mariage le 19 aout 2023. Une demeure cossue, des chambres dont la décoration permet l'évasion, un parc remarquablement entretenu et surtout la qualité de l'accueil des hôtes: chaleureux, discrets, disponibles. The accommodation was truly exceptional, both the space and the design. We really made the most of our time there, enjoying the garden and grounds, the lake, the BBQ, every room in the house! It was the most wonderful location and we made some incredible memories that we will carry with us for the rest of our lives.You must receive these emails after every stay, but I cannot express what a formidable time we had at Chateaux Veullerot. We were so immersed in the Burgandy wine experience, and this trip to the Chateau and wine cellar below were all part of the experience. Mon mari et moi nous sommes mariés en août dans ce lieu idyllique plein de charme. Nous avons eu un mariage de rêve et nos invités ont été conquis par ce lieu. Merci infiniment aux propriétaires qui sont très accueillants, professionnels et sympathiques !C'est un magnifique château entièrement rénové qui dispose de plus de 20 couchages. Chateau de Veullerot is a gem and everything inside and around the house is gorgeous and perfect in every regard. I can't think of anything that isn't as it should be. We celebrated a beautiful wedding weekend there with a Pool Party on the first day and the ceremony the following day. The garden in the back is the perfect setting for a romantic wedding ceremony and the reception hall easily fits 60 people for dinner and drinks afterwards. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
One of our most beautiful weddings took place in May 2025, in an elegant, romantic, and intimate atmosphere, with a stunning blue theme. The 60 guests enjoyed the château, its grounds, and the reception hall. A tent had been set up as a precaution for the outdoor cocktail, but the sun shone all day, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the gardens. Several photos from this wedding, including the guests in blue on the stairs and the couple on the balcony, are available on our profile.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Our main advice is simple: take the time to savor every step, and rely on us and your suppliers.
More broadly, for the big day: don’t get overwhelmed by the details, and make the choices that truly resonate with you. Plan ahead, but always leave room to enjoy the present — the day will pass too quickly to get lost in stress. Above all, have fun and celebrate your love in your own way; every decision matters, but what will stay in your memory are the emotions and the joy shared with your loved ones.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We loved seeing how couples incorporated personal memories: family photos, meaningful objects, and intimate touches that told their story. It creates an authentic and tender atmosphere.

Château de Veullerot is best described as convivial, warm, prestigious, elegant, and authentic, where every detail of the venue and every experience of the couples reflects both the château’s history and the care we put into hosting our guests.
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
There are so many photogenic spots at the château! The garden with its fountain, the front façade, the reception hall, the lake with our swans, as well as the stairs, entrance, lounge, dining room, music room, and library… Each space has its own unique charm. The mornings offer soft, gentle light, and the sunsets transform the château into a truly dreamlike setting.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Not yet, but we would be super excited to welcome one!
What’s your favourite canapé?
We would have loved to tell you about the little bao buns prepared by Helen, the château’s owner, but she hasn’t started making them professionally yet! 🤣 So instead, we choose the mini burgers from our caterer Charles, served with a live plancha station — delicious, convivial, and always a hit with our guests!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
We have a soft spot for the chocolate and peanut dessert from our partner chef Olivier, called the “Snicker Velours.” A truly indulgent and creative treat that always leaves a lasting impression after the meal.

Château de Veullerot is unique for its authenticity and timeless atmosphere. Perched in a secluded location with breathtaking views, it is carefully maintained by owners who are deeply attached to the place. Every garden space and every room reflects this commitment to preserving the château’s soul while offering an exceptional experience.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
We are proud of the family spirit that radiates from Château de Veullerot, both through the venue itself and our team.
