Ideally positioned between Nantes and La Baule, between beaches and countryside, on the edge of the Grande Brière park, the Château du Deffay is located in the heart of a romantic landscape of woods and ponds. The land of Deffay has been an important seigneurial domain since the 15th century, and the current neo-renaissance castle, inhabited for five generations by the family, evokes the rich history of the place, in particular the Vendée epic of the Duchess of Berry in 1832.
The beautiful interior architecture, large living rooms with antique furniture, double flight staircase, spacious and comfortable rooms are the living environment of the young couple who live there and give new life to these places where they will welcome you as friends.

The prices indicated are for the rental of the equipped Orangery:
– 45 round tables of 150 cm,
– 16 rectangular tables measuring 180×74 cm,
– 350 Napoleon chairs,
– lighting and ambient lighting,
– and a completely new sound system.
A security guard watches over the property during the evening.
Wedding Insurance covers you for all damages that could occur during your private or professional events.
The DJ is free to choose but must connect to the existing sound system. Like all reception venues welcoming a family audience, we respect the legal sound limit of 94db.
The caterer and ancillary services are your free choice subject to our conditions of intervention.
No corkage fees.

The setting is magnificent and enchanting, our guests were won over! The barn is very large and opens completely towards the garden. The rental of the castle for the wedding includes guest rooms, which is very pleasant for accommodating some of your guests. The proximity of the Deffay campsite is also very practical. We organized our wedding at the Château du Deffay on July 4, 2015. The setting is magnificent and enchanting, our guests were won over! The barn is very large and opens completely towards the garden. The rental of the castle for the wedding includes guest rooms, which is very pleasant for accommodating some of your guests. The proximity of the Deffay campsite is also very practical.
