Welcome to Château de la Tourlandry!
A historic venue nestled in the heart of Maine-et-Loire, in the beautiful Loire Valley. Surrounded by water-filled moats, lush parkland, and landscaped gardens, the estate blends authenticity, nature, and elegance to create an unforgettable wedding setting.
Rented exclusively, the château offers an intimate and warm atmosphere. Thoughtfully decorated, it features several elegant bedrooms and can accommodate your guests on-site. Spacious parking areas, including charging stations for electric vehicles, add a practical and modern touch.
Outdoors, the magic comes to life: a ceremony beneath the trees, a champagne toast by the moats, dinner in the inner courtyard under twinkling lights, and an open-air dance floor surrounded by nature — with the evening ending in the Orangery.
Our weddings are fully customizable: a ceremony on the bridge over the moats or beneath the leafy canopy, a nature-inspired cocktail hour, gourmet dinner, and dancing under the stars…
Additionally, we can connect you with trusted local vendors — photographers, florists, caterers, musicians, makeup artists, and hair stylists — so that every detail reflects your unique story.
Many fabulous weddings have taken place here at the Château de la Tourlandry.
On the big day, the ceremony is often held in the gardens, overlooking the peaceful moat, under a sky as clear as the emotions.
Light filters through the foliage and bathes the venue in a soft and solemn atmosphere.
A cocktail reception follows in the heart of the grounds, a champagne toast by the moat, and then a refined dinner in the interior courtyard, illuminated by hanging garlands.
The evening continues on the outdoor dance floor, set in the open air, surrounded by trees and the murmur of nature, before concluding in the Orangery.
Laughter, lights, and music fill the air until late into the night.
A true fairytale wedding, in a setting steeped in history and poetry—unforgettable for the bride and groom and their guests alike.
Before you get started, take the time to define your priorities and budget together. These two elements will guide you throughout the preparations and will allow you to move forward with greater confidence, step by step.
Remember: this wedding is yours. Stay true to your wishes, and above all... savor every moment of this beautiful adventure!
Here are the first major steps to follow:
1) Set a date:
Choose the time that works best for you, taking into account the availability of your loved ones... and your vendors!
2) Establish a budget:
Determine how much you want to spend on each item: venue, caterer, outfits, decor, music, etc. This will help you make informed choices and avoid unpleasant surprises.
3) Define the style and theme:
Classic, bohemian, country, or modern? A theme (even a subtle one) will help you harmonize your decor, outfits, invitations... and overall ambiance.
3) Create your guest list:
Create an initial list to estimate the number of guests. This will influence the size of the venue and the overall organization.
4) Book key vendors:
Reception venue, photographer, caterer, DJ, or band... The best vendors are often booked very early! Don't delay in contacting them.
A couple chose to install a vintage audio booth in the château gardens, inviting their loved ones to record messages throughout the day. Laughter, anecdotes, touching vows, and spontaneous declarations... All these moments were recorded on a personalized vinyl record. A few weeks later, the bride and groom received this unique record: the authentic soundtrack of their day, to listen to again and relive the emotion, again and again.

Authentic – a true, unspoiled charm, far from standardized venues.
On the moat bridge, facing the castle, or in the shade of the trees that line it.
Unfortunately, we cannot comment on this.
It's hard to choose, but we have a soft spot for the dill gravlax salmon, delicately placed on a lemon cream and accompanied by a zest of freshness. It's an elegant, flavorful, and light bite.
Without hesitation, the pear and salted butter caramel tartlet, still warm, with homemade shortcrust pastry.
The most unique feature of Château de la Tourlandry?
Undoubtedly, the rare harmony between heritage, nature, and privacy.
This castle, surrounded by a moat, offers a preserved historical setting, where every detail—from the ancient stones to the tree-lined gardens—tells a story. But what makes it truly unique is the feeling of being somewhere else, outside of time, in a place that is both grandiose and deeply welcoming.
A castle on a human scale, ideal for creating unforgettable memories.
It's undoubtedly our venue's ability to evoke genuine emotions.
Seeing faces light up upon arrival, hearing laughter echo through the courtyard, feeling the emotion during a ceremony by the moat... These are the moments that give meaning to our work.
We are proud to have preserved the château's soul while opening it up to intimate, elegant, and sincere moments.
Creating a setting as magical as it is natural, and welcoming each couple as if they were at home, this is what drives us every day.
