Main Hall The Winnipeg Art Gallery’s signature event space, the Main Hall is known for its soaring ceilings and backdrop of Manitoban Tyndall stone. This space can be used for wedding receptions. Capacity: 225 standing; 180 for sit-down dinner Rooftop Sculpture Garden Guests feel on top of the world when relaxing in our private rooftop garden. The city skyline creates a dramatic backdrop for you wedding. Capacity: 200 seated theatre style; 250 stand-up reception Penthouse Lobby With floor-to-ceiling windows, this open area encourages mingling while admiring the expansive Rooftop Sculpture Garden. This space is just the thing for stand-up wedding receptions. Capacity: 80 for stand-up reception; 32 for sit-down dinner Skylight Gallery Our ever-changing Skylight Gallery showcases some of the Winnipeg Art Gallery’s most impressive works of art, as well as the stunning glass skylight. This space is ideally suited for intimate dining experiences or ethereal wedding ceremonies. Capacity: 125 stand-up reception; 48 sit-down dinner Ilavut - Entrance Hall Upon entering Qaumajuq, you’ll be greeted by a three-story glass Visible Vault filled with thousands of carvings from the world’s largest public collection of contemporary Inuit art — a beautiful backdrop for small wedding receptions and intimate dinners.
