Under the Spire is a historic wedding venue combined with St. Mary's church in Kensington, Prince Edward Island. It's now decommissioned, and any denomination may use the facility with a private celebrant. Facilities and Capacity St. Mary's at Under the Spire has a capacity of 350 people. A beautiful Yamaha C7 Grand Piano can be included in your booking, along with a sound technician if desired. At St. Mary's, you can look forward to saying 'I do' in a space designed with French Gothic influence. The interiors boast world-renowned acoustics, so you can expect to leave with beautiful films documenting the day. Next door, you'll find St. Mary's Pavilion. This airy and open space is perfect for wedding showers and dinners, baby showers, anniversaries, private dinners, and more. Built in 2017 by architect David Sisam, the Pavilion features a fully licensed kitchen and bar. It can accommodate 120 standing guests and 50 seated.
