The Pendennis Hotel was established in 1911, and had a very rich history before falling into disrepair. In 2003 the building was sold with the intention of restoring this beautiful river-facing property. It was once at the heart of Edmonton’s night life, known for amazing dinners and wonderful parties. We look forward to creating our own history in the building and re-imaging the space for today's Edmontonians and their weddings.
About the Wedding Space
The Ballroom can sit up to 150 guests for a seated dinner. With bright, natural light, dimmable chandeliers, and a wall of historic brick, this ballroom is perfect for wedding ceremonies, receptions, corporate events, audience-style events like fashion shows, seminars, and more.
Our south facing balcony boasts stunning views of the river, the Muttart Conservatory, four of Edmonton’s bridges including the LRT bridge, and views of Downtown. Perfect for a family birthday, baby shower, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, or any party, the view and the experience, is unbelievable.
We offer three Wedding Packages to keep things simple:
The Classic Wedding Package: Bring in all your dream furniture and decor and make the space your own (for up to 100 guests)
The Platinum Wedding Package: Relax, let us take care of it, the 3rd floor is yours with the option to upgrade to the fourth floor for ceremony, cocktail hour, and/or whole day use.
The Luxury Wedding Package: Third and Fourth floors, including the balcony, are yours, and there’s luxury in every detail.
