Duchesnay stands on the shores of Lac Saint-Joseph and offers:

Magical Wedding Ceremony at Station Touristique Duchesnay
Duchesnay has two outdoor spots for wedding ceremonies:
- Le Gazebo: Romantic structure on the lake with mountain views; maximum number of chairs: 100
- Le Pommetier: Enchanting place under the crabapple trees; maximum number of chairs: 130
In case of inclement weather, the Duchesnay team will set the ceremony indoors.
Wedding Reception Halls at Duchesnay
Duchesnay has two charming areas for hosting wedding receptions:
- Sois-Bois Hall: Features unique rustic chic due to woodwork, exposed beams, and huge windows; the hall has access to a covered terrace with magnificent views; capacity: 180 – 200 guests
- Maïanthème Hall: An alternative modern wedding venue with cathedral ceilings and access to the terrace; capacity: 80 – 100
Wedding Packages at Duchesnay
Duchesnay is a full-service wedding venue with comprehensive packages covering everything from ceremony setup and catering to accommodation and wedding planning.
Two wedding packages, available for a minimum of 50 guests, are:
- L’Amour Toujours: Includes venue rent, parking, cocktail and sparkling wine for the couple, three luxury canapés per person, choice of four-course dinner, menu tasting and couple accommodation
- L’eternel: Upgraded package with five-course dinner and premium meals and all inclusions like the L’Amour Toujours
The wedding menu at Duchesnay features excellent local and international dishes. For example, the Appetizers include:
- Sesame profiterole with Lac Brome duck liver mouse
- Brie boreal fondant
- Poached shrimp in coconut milk
You select one choice of entrees from the list, and two from the list with available mains. Burata, tuna and vegetarian options are available on the entire list, while the list of mains features deer, beef, salmon, pork and vegan counterparts.
Dessert is your wedding cake, and the Duchesnay provides late-night food service, offering a gourmet menu for a minimum of 40 people. It includes:
- Poutine bar
- Sandwich bar
- Sampling platter
- Munchies
Overall, for such a luxury wedding meal, you need to appoint between two and three hours in your wedding itinerary.
Accommodation at Duchesnay
This stunning resort has different accommodation options for the convenience of staying on-site.
The three types of accommodations include spacious hotel rooms, pavilions and self-contained Oxygene cabins with beach views. With its excellent range of outdoor activities, Duchesnay allows you to plan your ultimate destination wedding and extend your stay to explore nature and take advantage of the nautical centre, bike paths and stunning forests.

Went to the pool (smaller than expected) with sauna and outdoor spa (that was great!). Also playroom with ping pong, fooseball table and board games. The included breakfast was special, had kids menu and adults ordered the pulled pork benedictine! We will go try the included activities (snowshoe/skate) !Was agreeably surprised! The Auberge was warm and comfortable, the staff were friendly and patient and the activities were energetic and lots of fun! Delicious, gourmet dinners and buffet breakfasts were included in our package and the proximity to Quebec City means some time may be spent in the historic Capitol before heading back home. Staff are bilingual and very friendly. The area is pretty with plenty to do if you are a nature lover. One thing to keep in mind…,the kitchen closes at 830pm, so don’t count on eating late. We did not require regular service but when we needed something from the main lodge, they were helpful. Great location for getting on cycling paths, our main reason for staying there.
