San Marco Event is located in the heart of Little Italy. Our wedding location is easily accessed by major highway and local arteries. We have a private parking lot and there is plenty of Public Parking nearby if required.
Our wedding services include fully licensed on and offsite catering featuring a delicious array of outstanding cocktail, dinner, and buffet menu options. Our gourmet chefs are excited to create a bespoke menu for your special occasion. Sala San Marco has celebrated thousands of weddings during more than thirty years of service to the Ottawa community.
The newly renovated wedding space offers an impressive setting for your wedding. At over 8,000 square feet this room features high ceilings, spectacular chandeliers, and luxurious décor to please the eye.
The Amadeo Room, our new and intimate ballroom of 1591 square foot room can host up to 80 beautifully appointed for smaller weddings the Amadeo Room will add the wow factor to your Baby Shower, Baptism, Bridal or Engagement Parties. Beautiful accent wall and built in Projector & Screen with sound system will create the perfect wedding space for Baby Showers, Baptisms, Engagement & Birthday Parties.
For a more intimate wedding setting, the DaVinci Room, on the lower level, is the ideal choice. The DaVinci Room, a private, intimate 1100 square foot room to host up to 80 wedding guests.
The Chandelier Room The perfect almost 4000 square foot room to host up to 150 guests. This room has a beautiful chandelier, hardwood dance floor, high ceilings, new carpeting and elegant atmosphere.
Sala San Marco encourages the opportunity to create a culinary experience. Food is professionally prepared entirely on site, while our meat, fish and produce are sourced locally and in season. Our number one priority is the quality of food and service we serve to our wedding guests.

How many guests can Sala San Marco accommodate?
We can host between 30 and 500 guests across our four event spaces. The Chandelier Room seats up to 300, the Window Room up to 250, and both the Amadeo Room and DaVinci Room are perfect for intimate celebrations of up to 80 guests each.
How many event spaces do you have, and what are they like?
We offer four distinct spaces: the Chandelier Room (~4,000 sq ft with a grand chandelier, hardwood dance floor, and high ceilings), the Window Room (up to 250 guests), the Amadeo Room (1,591 sq ft with a projector, screen, and sound system), and the DaVinci Room (1,100 sq ft with a private bar and fireplace for an intimate atmosphere).
What is included in the wedding packages?
All packages include an on-site coordinator, all china, silverware, and glassware, standard tables and chairs, white tablecloths and napkins, complimentary cake cutting, easel for your seating chart, microphone and podium, dance floor, head table, staging, gift and cake tables, and free outdoor parking. Set up and clean up are also included.
What are your wedding packages, and what do they start at?
Wedding packages start at $75 per person. We offer seven packages — Sapphire, Opal, Emerald, Ruby, Diamond Complete, Gold Complete, and Silver Plated Dinner — each with a full multi-course menu. Please contact us and we'll help you find the best fit for your vision and budget.
Do you offer in-house catering, and can you accommodate dietary requirements?
Yes — all food is prepared entirely on-site by our gourmet chefs using fresh, locally sourced, and seasonal ingredients. We proudly accommodate a wide range of requirements including Kosher, Halal, food allergies, and organically grown menu items. Simply let us know your needs and we'll create a bespoke menu for your day.
What bar services do you offer?
We offer a full range of bar options including open bar, limited bar, cash bar, champagne toast, house beer, house wine, house and premium liquor, signature drinks, and specialty beer and wine. Bar service starts at $31 per person. Our fully licensed bartenders are included.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes — we have a free private outdoor parking lot on-site, with additional public parking available nearby if required.
Is the venue accessible for guests with mobility needs?
Yes, Sala San Marco is fully wheelchair accessible throughout, and valet parking is also available to ensure all guests arrive comfortably.
Do you have an on-site wedding coordinator?
Yes. Our dedicated Event and Sales team work with you from initial enquiry through to the day itself, helping coordinate every detail — including menu customisation, room set-up, and supplier logistics — so you can relax and enjoy your celebration.

We're located at 215 Preston Street in the heart of Ottawa's Little Italy neighbourhood. Easily accessible by major highway (Hwy 417) and local arterials, approximately 5–10 minutes' walk from Bayview O-Train Station, and roughly 30 minutes by car from Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport. Free on-site parking is available for all guests.
