Royal Hotel Calgary, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

My fiancée and I were challenged with finding a large venue to accommodate our wedding group of 50 in Sept 202 due to COVID-19 social distancing. We ended up choosing the Emerald Ballroom in the Royal Hotel in Calgary. It could not have been more perfect. The ballroom, the planners Tracey and Sophie, all of the serving staff, the decorators, the food, the rooms for our guests....it could not have been better. I completely recommend them for your next wedding.

I attended a wedding here a couple weeks back. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms (especially for an older hotel). There is no carpet in the rooms which is awesome! The bed was like a cloud too. The dog friendly option worked perfectly for me and the pups got treats on check in. Staff were friendly and very accommodating.

I booked my reservation directly with their website as the prices were the same as the third party sites. I booked a month in advance, they sent reminder emails. Check in was flawless. I received room keys and breakfast vouchers. -The room has nice wood floors. -The  A/C unit is functional and quieter then the TV for once! -The entire room is very clean. -The bed is extremely comfortable,  I am 'stuck' in mine surrounded by pillows and a perfectly weighted duvet for this weather.
