To start off, what a beautiful venue. Jeremy takes emaculate care of the venue, from the grass, to the flowers and more. It made it super easy for us. We had minimal decor, and honestly, nothing more was needed. Our wedding had about 30 children invited, and not a single one of them was bored. There is so much to explore and see and lots of room for lawn games...We got married at River's Edge this past weekend and it was everything we had hoped for plus more! To start off, what a beautiful venue. Jeremy takes emaculate care of the venue, from the grass, to the flowers and more. It made it super easy for us. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and we had the most perfect day. Jeremy especially was such a big part of why our day was so perfect, he had so many great suggestions and ideas for vendors, setup, and much more and was so friendly, kind, and flexible. All of our guests had so many wonderful things to say about the venue! I cannot imagine there is a more beautiful spot in Edmonton...I cannot express enough how thankful I am to Jeremy, Diana, and the whole team at River's Edge Devon! This venue is incredible - from the picturesque ceremony site that over looks the River valley to the spectacular and unique tent, we all cannot say enough praise about it. Jeremy was very easy to connect with and worked so diligently to help make our day perfect. Also, the way he has decor drop off and pick up organized made everything seamless. We definitely recommend Rivers Edge for anyone looking for a wonderful venue experience!!We recently had our wedding at Rivers Edge at the end of September. Jeremy and the team really take care of all the greenery and the space to make it look so euphoric. All the guests were in loving with the ceremony AND reception spot because there were so many photo opportunities and things to do too! The service and the quick responses from Jeremy are also what made this 10/10 as he was so easy to deal with...We recently had our wedding here over the long weekend and it was 10/10 amazing. My daughter was married there a couple weeks ago, and Jeremy and his staff went far beyond the call of duty. The grounds and facilites were immacualte and breathtaking. The staff was very accomodating, and everything went beyond our expectations. I would higly reccomend this spot in a heartbeat. I could only give 5 stars, it deserves more!What a fabulous and beautiful venue! My daughter was married there a couple weeks ago, and Jeremy and his staff went far beyond the call of duty. The owner makes sure you get your special day how you want it, he responded to all my crazy emails.I don’t even know where to begin with writing this review. What is your maximum guest capacity?
Our dome tent comfortably hosts up to 200 guests for dinner and dancing, with the ceremony taking place on our river-view platform.
Can we host both our ceremony and reception at River’s Edge?
Yes. Say your vows on the river platform, then celebrate your reception in the dome tent—cocktails, dinner and dancing all in one place.
Is the dome tent heated and comfortable in cooler weather?
Yes. The dome tent is heated and designed for guest comfort, with great lighting and acoustics for speeches and dancing.
Do we need liability insurance?
Yes, liability insurance is required for weddings and private events.
Do we need a liquor license?
Yes. You will need an AGLC liquor license / special event permit to serve alcohol on-site.
What decor rules should we know about?
Candles are allowed, but fireworks are not and decor can’t be nailed into surfaces. Set-up and take-down times are pre-scheduled.
Do you have a couple suite / getting-ready space?
Yes. We offer dedicated getting-ready spaces, including a bridal suite and a separate groom’s suite.
Is onsite parking available?
Yes. There is on-site guest parking at both the ceremony site and the reception area.
