Hotel at the Waldorf

My partner and I stayed at the Waldorf for a vacation to BC and it was an absolute delight. We were immediately greeted by a wonderful front desk attendant who let us know where we can park and keep our bags until check-in. All staff members made special care to ask how our stay was going, direct us to local attractions, and ensure that we had an outstanding stay. The room was affordable and clean, the hotel is positioned in a walkable proximity to fun restaurants and breweries...

Wow, great hotel, amazing service. Stayed at 4 Seasons, many Fairmonts and other luxury hotels and this little dive hotel equalled or exceeded in cleanliness, friendliness, and experience. Fantastic access to transit/city. Neighborhood rough, but not the hotel. Across the street is a Grocery store, and a dollar store. Great restaurants in the area. Only 3 minor issues. Rooms/site is old, so it is a little bit dinged. No elevator for mobility impaired, but was able to navigate.Weekend concerts...

Mia on frontdesk provides excellent service and tips on what to see and where to eat. Lovely community area away from downtown. My room was quiet and clean. I would stay here again. If noise bothers you ask for a quiet room.....do NOT believe all the trash reviews.

This was an unbeatable price! The room was clean, the service was amazing, and you can walk downtown. ( Please be aware that you would have to wake through an area experiencing extreme poverty, addictions, and mental health) I work as a support outreach and overdose prevention worker in victoria b.c and the walk allowed me to gain more experience as an overdose prevention worker and talk to locals about what kind of services the area provides. And WOW, is the hotel well equipped for safety...
