Description

Heffley Creek Community Hall is an affordable wedding venue in Kamloops, one of the largest in the city, hosting weddings with 300 seated guests.

Flexibility at Heffley Creek Community Hall

This blank canvas wedding venue has a flexible vendor policy, meaning you can choose your caterer, decorator, photographer, videographer, and other suppliers.

The Hall is managed by volunteers of the non-profit organisation Heffley Creek Community Recreation Association, offering friendly service and support during your wedding planning process.

In addition to venue rent for your event, the Hall has amenities you can use for your special day:

Banquet tables
Chairs
Commercial kitchen with two burners, microwave and two fridges
Bar facilities with bar cooler available upon request
White plates
Cutlery and wine glasses
Sound system

Furthermore, Heffley Creek Hall provides a tent to install on the property for a covered event. The BBQ facilities are included, so if you are keen on preparing your food, you can host a casual BBQ wedding.

Wedding Packages

Heffley Creek Community Hall has affordable wedding reception packages, featuring one-day venue rental or entire weekend access. The latter gives you access to the venue from Friday noon to Sunday noon, giving you plenty of time to decorate, set everything up, and pack down.

The venue has some décor items, included in the venue rent:

Cuddle couch
Stage backdrop to use for ceremony or photo shooting
Linens

Keep in mind that this wedding venue doesn’t offer cleaning, so you’ll have to find a third-party vendor to clean everything after your wedding. Their partnering vendor for cleaning is Thompson Tailors.

A one day rental is $500 but the better deal is the Wedding reception package, which is from Friday at noon to Sunday at noon for $800. This includes the full venue and all our extras (which include 8' banquet tables, chairs, full kitchen & bar). Extra time is available to purchase. Renters may choose to use our white plates, cutlery & wine glasses (renters wash), arches, various decor, cuddle couch, lighted white chiffon stage backdrop, ceiling drapery, sound system and linens (renter pays for cleaning at Thompson Tailors).

Heffley Creek Hall and Deb, we’re an absolute lifesaver! She was so quick to get back to me and was very helpful. I booked the hall for the whole weekend and was able to do all the prep for my wedding and have a back up location all setup for my reception. We live in an area with wildfires all around and weren’t sure if we were going to be able to have our wedding. Being able to have access to all the hall space for all of our food prep and the peace of mind knowing I had a back up plan. Heffley Creek Hall and Deb, we’re an absolute lifesaver! She was so quick to get back to me and was very helpful. I booked the hall for the whole weekend and was able to do all the prep for my wedding and have a back up location all setup for my reception. We live in an area with wildfires all around and weren’t sure if we were going to be able to have our wedding. Being able to have access to all the hall space for all of our food prep and the peace of mind knowing I had a back up plan.

A lovely hidden gem of a venue A lovely hidden gem of a venue
Deb was wonderful to work with, and the hall itself is stunning. So many things were available to use, and we loved the curtain backdrop with the lights. Tables, chairs, table clothes and chairs covers were included to use, which was a key factor in our decision in choosing this venue. As well, the natural lighting from the windows into the space is gorgeous!! Seating for 120 guests, 16 people at the head table - with this layout there was a large centre area open for the dance floorDeb was wonderful to work with, and the hall itself is stunning. So many things were available to use, and we loved the curtain backdrop with the lights. Just had our wedding at the hall and all I can say is WOW. We had such an incredible experience from start to finish. It was so great to be able to have the time ans make the space completely ours. Deb is absolutely amazing to work with, she helped us get through so many hiccups, big and small. We are looking forward to booking the hall again for family and friend gatherings cause it was so perfect, large, and afforable.Just had our wedding at the hall and all I can say is WOW. We had such an incredible experience from start to finish. It was so great to be able to have the time ans make the space completely ours. I had booked this venue for my 2021 wedding reception. Unfortunately, I decided to move forward with a covid-19 wedding and had to greatly reduce my invitation numbers. The Hall staff were so kind to return my deposit due the current unprecedented times. I was so thankful to be able to change my plans without losing $$ from the deposit. When I was intending to hold my wedding reception there, they had many in-house rental options...perfect set up for a wedding.
