Nestled beside the Cheakamus River, Cheekye Ranch has over 60 acres of unique coastal forest and unparalleled mountain views. Cheekye Ranch is also home to Second Chance Cheekye Ranch (SCCR), a charitable organization that rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes horses in need. It is a place of sanctuary for over 40 rescued horses. There is a special quality of peace and refuge that these beautiful animals infuse into the land, making Cheekye a truly unique place.

The 3 acres of land for our wedding venue, boasts a 360 degree view of the Tantalus and Garibaldi mountain ranges. You and your guests will enjoy a completely private space in the mountains surrounded by forest. Professionally landscaped gardens provide a romantic ambiance for a small and intimate gatherings, yet with ample room to spread out, as our premier event area can accommodate up to 400 people with ease.

Took a lot of planning but it’s an absolutely gorgeous place. The yurts are lovely and our guests enjoyed being able to camp on site. The bridal suite is perfect. There is so much space to make your wedding dreams come true! I would recommend using Mandy from Squamish 360 events to help plan/coordinate your wedding - she knew everything about the venue and was very helpful!We just had our wedding here and it was amazing!! Took a lot of planning but it’s an absolutely gorgeous place. The yurts are lovely and our guests enjoyed being able to camp on site. The bridal suite is perfect. We signed a contract in 2019, and had to postpone throughout the pandemic and they were very understanding and worked with us to solidify a new date, with an understandable fee increase. There was some breakdown in communication throughout the process, leading to some unexpected charges (that were removed once our planner discussed it with the owner).We got married at Cheekeye Ranch this summer and while it is an incredible venue, it is going through some growing pains. There is one generator on-site which was not able to power all of our equipment and lighting, we rented two others (one of them was a spare).We held our wedding in Cheekye Ranch in July 2023 and we loved the location, beautiful backdrop and an idyllic setting on the river.
