The Olive Estate

The Olive Estate wedding venue in the Swan Valley is a picture-perfect location for your special day, with practical facilities, outdoor and indoor spaces and a cozy, country-side vibe. The venue is on the list of Rich Heritage properties and is only 30 minutes from Perth. Essentially, it is the boutique olive farm, sitting on a slightly elevated point overlooking Perth hills. 

The Estate contains an authentic cottage from the 1920s, now a charming Tearroom.

The new function centre on the Estate accommodates intimate weddings and offers plenty of facilities on-site for the best experience.

Venue Features

The multi-level facility has function spaces upstairs and downstairs:

• Upstairs: A dedicated lounge space, works as a wedding preparation room. Next to it, a private dining room accommodates up to 20 people for micro weddings.
• Downstairs: Features a full-service bar with beers, cocktails and an excellent selection of wines. You can also bring your own wines. The enclosed patio on the lower floor is the perfect option for cocktail receptions or formal seated dinners with long tables. Additional facilities on the lower floors are a cozy fireplace and glass sliding door opening into the large garden illuminated by festoon lights for a magical indoor-outdoor vibe.

Ceremonial Area & Cocktail Reception at the Olive Estate

There are so many beautiful locations for wedding ceremonies at the Olive Estate. Exchange vows in the enchanting location in the woods, or the Olive grove, or whatever you prefer. 

Host cocktail hour outdoors in the front garden, BBQ area or in the groove. Imagine your guest enjoying the garden with a delicious cocktail while you explore the surroundings and enjoy your wedding photo session.

The BBQ area at Olive Estate is arranged as a traditional South African Lapa with an open fire pit. It accommodates larger groups preferring casual and raw nature experiences.

If the weather doesn’t allow outdoor wedding activities, you can always pick lounge areas indoors for pre-reception drinks.

Outdoor Reception

Olive Estate offers endless opportunities for outdoor receptions, ranging from simple multi-course dinners to wildlife safari themes and Australian BBQ. You can prepare your meal using outdoor cooking areas or get a third-party rustic outdoor bar.

Accommodation at Olive Estate

To complete the extraordinary wedding experience, Olive Estate offers overnight accommodation for up to 10 guests in the bridal suite and two more rooms. These rooms are fully equipped with modern amenities needed for a comfortable stay.
