The Mint Weddings
The Mint is a historic public building, blending original architectural details with contemporary design. With its sandstone courtyard, and raised lawn area, Mint provides several locations for your wedding day.
Wedding spaces at the Mint are:
- Courtyard: Historic outdoor location suitable for a long banquet or alfresco wedding ceremony; capacity: 110 seated guests or 200 standing people
- Gold Melting Room: Stunning room featuring wooden louvres and glass panels and direct access to Sandstone Courtyard; the capacity is 180 people
Keep in mind that the Mint cannot accommodate the reception and the ceremony on the lawn. For example, you can exchange vows on the lawn and have your reception in the Courtyard.
Wedding Services at the Mint
The Mint provides you with a dedicated event manager who will work closely with you to oversee and manage all relevant details for your wedding day.
The Mint doesn’t provide in-house catering, but partners with one of the top catering companies in the area – Pearl Catering. This catering company features an experienced group of catering professionals who prioritise creativity and innovation in the kitchen. They use fresh and sustainable ingredients from Sydney’s top providers.
BYO food and alcohol aren’t permitted at the Mint.
Extra wedding space is a dedicated wedding room available for hire with comfortable seating and a full-length mirror for preparations and touch-ups.
