Caversham House is a unique wedding venue in Perth, purposely built for weddings on the banks of the beautiful Swan River. Facilities at the Caversham House include ceremony locations on the lovely grounds, a garden house as a wet weather alternative and several luxury reception spaces. This unique Perth venue has accommodation capacities for eight people.

Getting Married at Caversham House

The venue has everything you need for a romantic wedding ceremony, including stunning outdoor and indoor locations, a relaxed atmosphere and gorgeous photo opportunities. 

Choose between the following options for your wedding ceremony:

• The Hidden Garden: Includes 30 classic chairs, a signing table two Tiffany chairs, red carpets on the grand staircase leading to the aisle
• Garden House: Indoor location, includes 30 Tiffany chairs, cream carpet flowing down the aisle, singing table and chairs for the couple
• Colonnade Ceremony: Outdoor area with 30 classic chairs, red carpet, signing table and two chairs

Caversham House contains several enhancements for your ceremony for rent, such as additional chairs and carpets, a cake table, wine barrels and water bottles for the guests.

At Caversham House, you have a separate package for after-ceremony drinks and canapés. The beverage package with refreshment drinks covers one hour and you can add 4, 6 or 8 canapés.

Extraordinary Wedding Party at Caversham House

This all-in-one wedding venue hosts reception in three spaces with different inclusions:

• Marquee: Romantic reception space with silk draping and crystal chandeliers; the space is equipped with AC units, a permanent bar, dance floor and lounge area; capacity: 50 to 250 seated guests, 70 -350 guests for a cocktail reception, 600+ guests when combined with Colonnade garden
• The Main House: Luxury area with marble bar, opulent chandeliers, powder room and elegant furniture; capacity: 50 – 180 seated guests, 50 – 280 for a cocktail reception; 600+ with alfresco seating and lawn space
• The Garden House: Suitable for intimate weddings, features bi-fold doors and access to the lawn; capacity: 21 – 50 seated guests, 70 people for a cocktail reception

Dining at Caversham House

Caversham House provides multiple wedding menus for different sizes and styles of weddings, including:

• Set menus for seated meals
• Grand buffet menu
• Cocktail packages

For example, set menus feature a combination of canapés, grazing tables, entrees, mains and desserts. 

Buffet packages vary from standard selection and premium selection, providing a wide range of salads, carvery items, accompaniments, charcuteries and desserts.

For the cocktail package, you have to select five or more standard hot and cold canapé items paired with substantial and dessert canapés. 

Beverage packages are non-alcoholic and alcoholic packages, ranging from standard to premium.
