Wild Horses Lodge with its stunning scenery and unique situation overlooking the dam is the ideal 5 star destination for your wedding. We create the wonderful atmosphere for an intimate and bespoke wedding, that you have always dreamed about. Our lodge has a proud reputation for hosting exclusive weddings and we fully understand that any wedding is a special celebration which we treat as such. We strongly recommend that both bride and groom visit the lodge before you make your choice of venue. You will be overwhelmed by the awesome spirit of the mountain, the magnificent views over the dam and the atmosphere of complete peace and tranquility that the lodge enjoys. Weddings up to 12 guests Venue hire is R2 500.00, this covers staff and overtime as well as setup, break down and use of the lodge’s chairs, tables, crockery, cutlery, glassware, candelabras and tablecloths that the lodge has on hand. We do have a list of suppliers if you wish to have a specific “theme” that the lodge can not match. All staff are provided at no extra cost until 22:00, thereafter there is an overtime charge of R300 per hour per staff member. Our cut off time is 0:00. The entire Lodge has to be reserved for both the night before the wedding and night of the wedding. Our standard tariffs will apply for these 2 days and includes bed, dinner and breakfast. The lodge is able to accommodate a maximum of 12 guests. Dinner and breakfast as per the lodge’s normal menus, these menus are available to be discussed with the chef. We can tailor make a menu for you but bear in mind this may incur an extra cost.
